If you are going on holiday in Snowdonia and staying at a hotel or bed and breakfast, you may like to bring your dog. The closest dog boarding kennels to Mount Snowdon, Wales are at Capel Garmon near Betws-Y-Coed.
About
Each dog sleeps in its own warm and clean kennel. There is a constant availability of water and regular access to an enclosed run to allow your dog to stretch its legs. We can supply your dog's bedding, or if your dog has a particular type of bedding which it is accustomed to sleeping on, you can bring it and it will be put in your dog's kennel. We would encourage you to bring familiar food for your dog, but if you don't we can supply its dinner!
Prices
Dogs can be boarded and taken out during the day, if the owners are planning a walking holiday and wish to have their dogs with them.
- 1 dog: £8 per day
- 1 cat £5 per day
- 2 dogs (sharing): £12 per day
- 1 dog for 1 day only: £10

Location
The boarding kennels are at Capel Garmon near Betws-Y-coed. The access road is a single-track road (with passing places) and quite steep. It is unsuitable for caravans. [larger map]
Conditions of Acceptance of Dogs
- All dogs must have been vaccinated (certificates to be produced) against Distemper, Hardpad, Parvo-Virus and kennel cough (if possible).
- All dogs and cats are covered by petplan insurance during their stay, only pre-existing conditions are the responsibility of the owner.
- Boarding fees are payable at the time animals are collected unless paid by cheque.
